Step 2

Copy the template email text into your new email. Dear Mark, As one of your constituents, I wanted to send you this new report on the economic benefits of EU Membership and ask you to use your influence to bring about real change for our country: https://www.bestforbritain.org/eu-uk-integration Best for Britain’s research reveals EU membership could add up to 3.6% GDP growth in the long run, equivalent to more than £92bn. That would almost entirely reverse the 4% damage done to the UK economy by Brexit, according to the OBR. British businesses would stand to benefit, the report suggests UK exports would rise by more than £43 billion every year. For too long, too many people in our country have seen their opportunities reduced and their high streets eroded around them. This report shows we can begin to reverse that. Membership of the EU would substantially benefit former industrial regions - from the East and West Midlands, to the North East and West. Europe benefits too, with a $50 billion export boost. In an era of geopolitical turmoil, with America becoming an unreliable ally and Russia becoming more aggressive, Britain must return to the top table, strengthening our own position as well as all of Europe. If we do not fix the issues facing our economy and our security, we risk paving the way for a Reform UK government. I urge you to consider the benefits of EU membership and to use the influence you have as my MP. Yours, A constituent at [Your full address including postcode]
